Brother's Mechanical, Inc. (BMI), was founded in 1999 as Brother's Duct Work (BDW), a proprietorship, by Noel Ayala. The company specialized in the installation of HVAC ductwork for many of the most prominent mechanical companies in Northern Virginia, Washington D.C., and Maryland.
In 2005 the name was changed to Brother's Mechanical, Inc. to better reflect the many aspects of its business.
Over the years BMI has expanded its leadership role in the design, installation, and service of industrial, commercial, high-rise, residential, and institutional air conditioning, heating, ventilation, plumbing, and control systems.
BMI’s offices and manufacturing facilities are located in Lorton, Virginia. With the staff of more than 150 employees, the company offers clients the accessibility and support of a local firm with the stability and resources of a multi-national organization.
